Disability Hero: Mike Natter

When he was 9 years old, Mike Natter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. He did not let it stop him from living a normal life since then. He went camping and played basketball growing up. In time, he started creating comic books about it, and he named a superhero for people like him. The superhero is named Captain Langerhans. He is now in his fourth year in medical school at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadephia. You can view his drawings on Instagram.
