Community Volunteer Frustration?

One of the most frustrating things that I deal with when I am in my local community is dealing with the ignorance of others when it comes to disabilities. It can happen when I am at religious meetings, school meetings, community events, community playground, the local gym, and more. At times, it does leave me very much disappointed and frustrated. Then, I remember that most people in society do not have very much experience working or dealing with the disabled unless they or a close family member becomes disabled. You are left with the choice of educating or ignoring someone in cases of ignorance. You have to realize that educating might not work in most cases, so I recommend ignoring them because you could be wasting your time in the end.
