As a parent, you want your child to be equipped for adulthood well on skills. When you are the parent of a disabled child, you wonder what they are capable of including doing chores. Yes, most children are able to do chores around the house, but it may not work with some children. If your child's chronological age does not match your child's developmental age, assigned chores should be appropriate for your child's developmental age. If needed, use appropriate props and break down the chores to the simplest steps to match your child's abilities.
