I came across an interesting story today about a mother searching for a doll for her daughter who lost all of her limbs due to amputation. Her mom felt frustrated in finding a doll which matched her daughter in real life in the local stores. I have known for years that there are adaptive toys for the disabled out there, but you have to know where to look for them. For parents, it can be difficult in locating these special toys. It has gotten easier since the internet became a part of every day life. There is even an organization devoted to lending adaptive toys to parents is named Katelyn's Krusade.
