Amusement Park Advice

One of the most expensive trips or vacations a family can take is to the local amusement or theme park. Besides the cost, it can get complicated if you have a disabled child, teen, or adult. What can you do to help prepare and enjoy the trip?

  • If your child has problems waiting in lines, there is help out there for you, and it is the disability pass. It is available through the customer service window at the theme park. It is free to receive one. It does include your entire family.
  • If your child is on a special diet, read the theme park's website because most will include a food allergy guide on it.
  • If you want to save on food, consider eating out at a local restaurant, fast food place, or buffet. There are affordable places to eat in the area. I should know because I lived near a very popular theme park for a couple of years.
Enjoy your trip!
