Present shopping can be a challenge at times. When you have a special needs child, it can become even more challenging when they have communication issues. An idea to solve the problem is give your child a gift catalog or advertising circular and let them circle the gifts they want if they are unable to read. For children able to read and write, you could have your child write out their gift list. Just remember, it is possible for your limited communication or nonverbal child to give you their gift list.
