I have seen time and time again parents struggling when they hear or read the results of their child's evaluations. They know their child is struggling in life, but it becomes a problem for them when they hear in comparison to normal development in writing. As you know, evaluations are a normal part of life when you have a special needs child. You must keep in mind that these results are used to justify the needs of their Individual Education Plan, medical treatments, and therapy appointments when it comes to the school districts and insurance companies.
