I will have to admit that I love the holiday season. I have many great memories of my family getting together during the holidays. The meals were always fantastic besides the company. It has been over ten years since I discovered my problems with eating wheat or gluten. I have to admit that it has made holiday meals more challenging. The wheat can be very visible or known or hidden at times with something you least expect it. Have you thought of offering to bring a holiday dish to the family gathering that you know avoids your food allergy for yourself and others to enjoy? The worst that can happen with the offer is that the person says no. However, you never know until you try offering the dish.
